Another month of strong rainfall

THE region saw higher-than-average rainfall for a second month, with rainfall also increasing on the previous year.


Camperdown recorded 91.5mm of rainfall over November, which is an increase from last year’s total of 36.3mm.

The figure is also higher than the long-term monthly average of 55.2mm.

November 17 saw Camperdown’s highest daily rainfall, with 18.5mm hitting the ground in 24 hours.

Camperdown’s total rainfall for 2025 currently sits as 567mm.

Meanwhile, Lismore saw 70.8mm of rainfall across the final month of spring.

The figure is above both the long-term average of 54.7mm and the previous year’s total of 45.2mm in the same month.

Lismore’s highest daily rainfall was recorded on November 11, where 15mm hit the ground.

To date, Lismore’s rainfall tally for 2025 sits at 487.6mm.

Derrinallum also saw strong rainfall, with 66.3mm filling gauges across the township.

The figure is just over double last November’s total of 31.6mm.

This November’s rainfall was also higher than the long-term average of 55.5mm.

Like Lismore, Derrinallum saw its highest daily rainfall of 15.2mm recorded on November 11.

Derrinallum’s rainfall tally for 2025 currently sits at 472.9mm.
