Athletes compete in state relays

CAMPERDOWN Little Athletics Centre was well represented at the recent state relay championships in Melbourne.

Under 10 mixed relay team.

Three teams (six athletes) participated in the championships, held at Melbourne’s Lakeside Stadium last weekend.

Congratulations to Sophie Woodmason, Isla Dickinson, Callum Nicholls and William Brown who participated in the under 10 mixed 4x100m event.

Harrison Plater, Lenny Bourke, Elise Nesseler and Luca Unwin raced in the under 9 mixed 4x100m event.

Ethan Cotton, Ethan Marshall, Harrison Plater and Lenny Bourke raced in the medley.

In the male 9 years medley relay the team finished 13th in a time of 3.14.54.

The team finished 24th overall in the mixed 10 years 4x100m with a time of 67.45.

And in the nine years, 4x100m they finished 23rd in 72.52.
