Car park fills with carols
CAMPERDOWN and District Community House’s Music Group held their annual pop-up performance at Woolworths on Wednesday, filling shoppers with festive cheer.
Festive cheer: Camperdown Community House Music Group held their annual pop-up performance on Wednesday, spreading Christmas cheer at Woolworths.
The 12 members were situated at the front of the store near the carpark, performing from 10.30-11.30am.
Facilitator Eileen McKenzie said the group makes the visit every year and performs for an hour.
“Some of the shopper join in with us,” she said.
“We’re the Camperdown Community House Music Group, and we meet every Wednesday except for during the school holidays.
“Anybody’s welcome to join.
“You don’t have to have any musical experience to join – just come along, have a cuppa and bring your knitting.
“We’re also performing at Carols by Candlelight on Friday night.”
