Heather Holmes leads ladies’ championship
HEATHER Holmes has taken home the second round of the women’s A grade club championship at the Terang Golf Club.
Twenty players competed in the second round of the ladies’ championships, with Holmes finishing on 93-19-74 ahead of runner-up Margie Driscoll on 96-20-76.
B grade was won by Maureen Bond 103-32-71, with Aileen Clark the runner-up on 98-27-71.
Balls down the line went to Elaine Hrabar 103-28-75, Karen Mather 103-26-77, Janet Saunders 105-27-78 and Janet O'Connor 112-32-78.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Janet Saunders, 6th and 11th Elaine Hrabar and 18th from off the green, Karen Mather.

A grade – Heather Holmes 186, Cate Glennon 187, Judy Carmody 189, Sharee Scanlon 191 and Kate Cornelissen 193.
B grade – Margie Driscoll 190, Aileen Clarke 198, Janet Saunders 204, Elaine Hrabar 205 and Jo Arundell 205.
C grade (stableford) – Maureen Bond 69, Jane Heffernan 68, Wendy O’Connor 62, Dianne Glennen 61 and Linda Kenna 60.
