Interactive art show success for St Pats
ST Patrick’s School was transformed into a vibrant gallery on Tuesday evening as students, families and community members gathered for the school’s Arts Exhibition Night.

This year’s theme ‘Lakes and Craters’ celebrated the beauty of the local landscape through colour, texture, and imagination.
The event featured a display of student artwork from every year level, showcasing skills developed across visual arts, design and multimedia to represent a number of endangered species within the Corangamite area.
Assistant principal Tarryn Delaney said visitors were treated to creative installations and performances which reflected the students’ deep engagement with the natural environment and local history.
“One of the highlights of the evening was the interactive mini-golf course, custom-made by the Timboon Men’s Shed and decorated by students with imaginative flair,” she said.
“Each hole told a story inspired by the theme, blending art, play and community collaboration.”
Ms Delaney praised the efforts of staff and students.
“The creativity and teamwork behind this event truly reflects the spirit of St Patrick’s,” she said.
“Our students have taken enormous pride in their work.
"It’s wonderful to see families and the wider community coming together to celebrate their achievements.”
The evening opened earlier in the week with a smoking ceremony and welcome to country by local Indigenous artist Brett Clarke, setting a reflective tone and connecting the event to country and culture.
Ms Delaney said as families wandered through classrooms and displays, live music and student Auslan performances added to the festive atmosphere.
“The night was a true celebration of imagination, collaboration and community, reminding everyone that the arts are alive and thriving at St Patrick’s School,” she said.
