Last Thursday saw numbers a little light on due to camps and illness, with six riders making the start line in the junior race.

This was a great chance for riders to blow off the cobwebs and start to increase their fitness to set some new personal best times.

This year the club will focus on holding mini educational in-services at the start of each race.

Last Thursday the club welcomed a new rider, Archie, who rode away with his first club win.

Archie rode under the guidance of senior rider, Tanya, and recorded his first personal best time of 17.20.

Second over the line was Finny with a time of 15.23 and Nathaniel finished third in 11.47.

Other riders included Lawson 13.22, Rieley 13.26 and Josh, who recorded the fastest time of the night with 9.30.

Eight keen riders tackled the senior event, facing strong winds over the Chocolyn block.

First over the line was Finn in a time of 28.26, followed by Tanya and Matty G.

Shaun took out the fastest time of 25.16.

Racing will be held each Thursday.
