No play for Dragons

NO play was possible for Boorcan’s division two cricketers, with their home game against Heytesbury-Princetown Blue abandoned without a ball bowled.

This week the division two Dragons play Pomborneit at South Purrumbete.

In division three, Boorcan travelled to Woorndoo, with the home team batting first after winning the toss.

Woorndoo made 8/152 from its 40 overs.

Jack Menz led the Dragons bowling with 3/7 from three overs, with Roger Horspole economical with the new ball, taking 2/12 from seven overs.

Tim Castle took 2/35 from eight, with Ollie Horspole taking 1/12 from three.

That was where the match ended, with the rain setting in play was abandoned.

This week the division three Dragons play Ecklin at Boorcan.

The under 13s have the bye this Monday with their next game in January.
