Raffle winners announced
CAMPERDOWN College has announced the winners for its major fundraising raffle recently, with senior campus educational support Tim Keane claiming first prize.
The raffle was drawn during the senior campus’ presentation ceremony on Monday.
Mr Keane took home a $10,000 travel voucher, saying he was very excited to win the raffle.
“I couldn’t believe it when my name was read out as the winner,” he said.
“I have never won anything as substantial as that before.
“I haven’t made any concrete plans yet, but I have had it on my bucket list to travel to Lord Howe Island at some stage, so this might be a great opportunity to do it.
“I have greatly enjoyed my first year at Camperdown College this year and look forward to coming back next year.
“It is a great little country school.”
Second prize of a $1000 accommodation voucher and a $500 Ticketek voucher was awarded to Sheree Horspole, while the third prize of a $1000 fuel voucher went to Sharon Gillett.
Camperdown College junior campus office manager Amy Stephenson congratulated the winners for this year’s raffle.
“Thank you to all who supported our raffle by purchasing a ticket or book – your ongoing support is appreciated and invaluable,” she said.
“Tim, we look forward to hearing of your travel plans.
“We appreciate being able to run a major raffle in conjunction with such a supportive local business.”
