Rain-interrupted match for Tigers
RAIN meant that only 36.1 overs of play were possible in the Simpson v Stoneyford game in the Colac-South West premier cricket competition round eight match on Saturday.

Stoneyford won the toss and elected to bat first at the Simpson Recreation Reserve, reaching 4/192 when play was abandoned.
Skipper Jackson Rock took the new ball, returning figures of 2/46 from 10 overs.
Chathura Wadu and Hunter Reynolds were the other wicket takers for the Tigers with one each.
This week Simpson heads to Timboon to play Heytesbury-Princetown.

In division two, Simpson bowled first in the match at Deans Marsh, with the home team all out for 137.
Kye Baines, Bradey Fratantaro and Ben Vogels all took three wickets each.
Simpson never had an opportunity to bat, with the rain setting in and the match abandoned.
This week the division two Tigers play Irrewarra at Simpson.
The division three game at Forrest between Forrest and Simpson was abandoned without a ball bowled.
This week in division three Simpson will play West Warrion at Colac’s Western Reserve.
On Friday night, Simpson’s under 14s had a 140 run loss to Irrewarra Red at CSC Oval.
Batting first, the junior Tigers made 7/98 from their 30 overs.
Olinto Ferrari top scored with 18, with Fin Mahoney and Archer Crole making 12 each.
Irrewarra Red replied with 2/238, with Josh Vines and Jordan Beecher taking a wicket each.
In the under 14s this Friday, Simpson will host Colac at Simpson.
