Rohan re-appointed

WOORNDOO MORTLAKE has announced the reappointment of A grade netball coach Bec Rohan for a second season.

“I’m pretty excited, we’ve been in discussions for a while, the club has been great throughout the process,” Rohan said.

“I feel we’re set up for exciting things next season.”

Recruiting and consistency are the immediate tasks for the Woorndoo Mortlake coach.

“We’re hoping to lock in a few recruits in the next few weeks.

“Last season we lacked consistency and had injuries on top of that so improving our depth is important”

Rohan praised incoming Tigers football senior coach Jai Middleton for how he is driving the club.

“Jai is really keen to move the club forward both performance wise and socially.

“Jai has brought a whole club approach which has made my job in locking in players much easier.”

As well as coaching, Rohan will take to the court again having recovered from injuries she battled through in the second half of 2025.

“The body has recovered, I’m keen to get the shoes back on and put in a big effort on the court.”

Rohan and the Tigers are aiming high in 2026.

“The goal is to climb into the top four.

“We’ve got some brilliant juniors coming through, add a few recruits and I think we’ll be really strong.”
