Stableford at Cobden

FORTY-two players contested a stableford Green Day at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

A grade was won by D. Bennett (ladies) on 35 and N. Simmonds (men) 36.

Results from A grade were as follows:

Ladies – D. Bennett 35, D. Ferrari 31, D. McKenzie 30, S. Healey 29 and P. Tickner 28.

Men – N. Simmonds 36, D. Absalom 35, S. Rix 34, B. Bourke 33 and M. Drayton 33.

Nearest the pins: 4th B. Green, 7th N. Simmonds, 10th U. Twinstra, closest second on the 2nd J. Mason and closest on the 14th N. Simmonds.

Balls down the line: D. Bath, A. Holster, J. Mason, B. McSween, L. Rix, B. Taylor and D. Beard.

The men averaged 27.68 and the ladies 26.36.

This Saturday, December 20, will be a stableford competition.
