Strong round from Arundell
JO Arundell finished with a sore of 35 points to take out the women’s stableford at Terang Golf Club last Thursday.
The runner-up was Lynette Coxon, 31 points on a countback from Jane Heffernan.
Balls down the line went to Jane Heffernan 31 and Cate Glennon 30.
Nearest the pins: 6th Margie Driscoll and 9th from off the green Aileen Clarke.
The all-day stableford was won by George Beasley with an excellent score of 39 points.
The runner-up was Ethan Wyss, 34 on countback from Jason Karney 6.
Balls down the line went to Jason Karney 34, David Stewart 33 and Colin Venn 33.
Nearest the pin on the 6th was Colin Venn.
Winner of the nine hole, all day event was Frank O’Connor.
Next week’s 9.30-10.30 event will be stroke; the 18 hole and nine hole all day events will be stableford.

Forty-two players competed in a stableford at the course last Saturday.
The A grade winner was Max Kavanagh (11) 41 points from George Beasley (scratch) 39.
B grade was won by Linda Kenna (33) 38 points on countback from Ged Justin (23) 38.

George Beasley had an eagle on the par four, 13th hole.
This Friday will be twilight from 2.30pm onwards (back nine holes), Saturday stableford all day and Sunday will be an 18-hole stableford from 10.30am.
