Two arrested following crash

POLICE have arrested two people following a crash in Terang on Saturday, February 28.

It is understood a car crashed into a barrier on the Princes Highway about 5.30pm.

“The driver and passenger allegedly fled the scene prior to police arrival,” Terang police Sergeant Oliver Price said.

“A woman was located shortly later on Spring Dam Road before she was arrested.

“She was released pending further enquiries.

“A man was arrested nearby about 6.25pm and was transported to hospital under police guard.

“A bag containing drugs and cash was seized near the scene.”
