Wet end to spring
RAINFALL was abundant over Cobden this November, bringing a wet end to spring before summer takes over.

November saw 116.2mm of rain hit the ground over Cobden, almost double the long-term average of 63.4mm during the same period.
The highest daily rainfall was calculated on November 17, where 18.4mm of rain hit the ground.
Compared to the same time last year, the result more than tripled the amount of rainfall calculated in November 2024, where only 33.2mm of rain was recorded.
With the annual total amount of rain to November hitting 676mm, 2025 has already seen more rain than all of 2024, where only 561.5mm of rain was recorded for the year.
However, Cobden is still shy of the long-term average calculated over the same period, which reaches 781.6mm of rain.
