Win for Narik

DEB Narik finished on 36 points to take out Wednesday’s stableford competition at the Camperdown Golf Club.

Gayle Gill was the runner-up on 32 points, with balls down the line going to Heather Cameron and Ruth Skene.

Deb Narik also dominated the nearest the pins, claiming the second, ninth (second shot), 16th (second shot) and 17th holes.

Terri Sinnott was the closest second shot on the ninth green.

Next week will be a par competition.

The final round of the WDGA women’s division two pennant competition was a disappointing end to the season for the Camperdown team.

Unfortunately, they were defeated 4-1 by East Framlingham at Cobden on Monday.

Donna Conheady lost 5-4, Tracey Baker won 3-1, Gabby Gill lost 6-5, Jenny Hillman was defeated two up and Doreen Horan lost 8-7.
